Big events that will attract a lot of players.

For example: "A mysterious Artifact has appeared in X zone"

Players should not be able to disconnect if they are engaged in battle. Maybe make them wait 10 seconds before they can press exit.

I have an idea to introduce a system of wounded. When life falls below some level,  our character is put to the ground as they have done NPC and at this point can help us  another player giving first aid kit.

As I thought, the screams that the engine is obsolete / dead - nothing more than nonsense drove. At the time of release, it was not possible to make more suitable npc, and animation just needs to be improved at the level of the animations themselves, a slight improvement at the engine level is possible. And in general, the game engine supports a huge bunch of technologies that you rarely see even in the games of the current gene. Strictly I advise you to refine the full potential of this engine, improving the texture, detailing vegetation and other game objects, of course, work on models of non-writers, try to tighten the animation at all levels. The main thing - do not harm the old graphic chips. I also advise you to look at the implementation of some new features in Shoker Weapon Mod, such as disabling the limitation of model polygons, this will naturally help you achieve a more detailed picture. And of course, do not limit the schedule for the sake of weak PC assemblies. Enough already to regret players with dinosaurs from 2003. In extreme cases, just make a smart setting, where with ultra / full dynamics / DX 10 will activate all the chips of the engine, and chips brought by you, and step-by-step down the quality. Well, as for the optimization should not be forgotten. As for me, you can build a golden rule for the implementation of graphics - do it as beautifully as possible where you see the player's eye. I would also advise you to play with the gamut in the game, as it seems to me, it played a significant role in Fallout 4, making the game brighter and more colorful, but leaving it gloomy, do not go into one color. Also do not forget ginslinger chips, such as turning off the limit of the number of sounds, when the sounds of shots are not interrupted, but go one after another. So much work should be done on the soundtrack, and on the sounds of the environment. Quite ideally would be a full professional voice acting actors, but this is hardly possible under the usual modmeykeram, so that you can tolerate. It is also worth rewriting the game on the guitar. Play the same melodies, just in higher quality. While everything seems like it came to my mind. Great luck to the developers, I hope you bring it to the end! Please, squeeze everything out of the engine, because the engine still has great potential!

So much attention should be paid to the FPS component, namely all the emmatsii and models from the first person. The standard at the moment I believe Gunslinger Mod, and not without reason. Animations for lanterns, for taking medications, for drinking, for drinking drinks. Also in Gunslinger the correct inertia is realized, even the correct peeping out from behind the corner. I'm not saying that you should use Ganslinger, they are just an example for now for all developers. Also in Shoker Weapon Mod there is an interesting feature of stacking cartridges in a cage. I advise you to take a closer look at such high-quality weapon mods, and at least make it worse, because in FPS it plays a big role

Here`s one: How about making the game, in terms of gaming assistance (crosshairs, minimaps, notifications,...), as bare bones as possible? Heck, don`t add them at all. Make the players work for their money instead of giving them immersion-breaking tools to help them survive the zone. All the tools for navigation, aiming and general survival should be items in the game such as PDAs, scopes, different kinds of medicine and food. And yes, dehydration and starvation should also be a thing. Lost alpha had it right.

This could work, but I believe it should be based on a chance, rather than a game rule. If a chimera pounces on you or you get shot with an Obokans bullet to the head, while on low health at the very least, no way you should be able to survive it. And also, taking into account that even tho you survived such a powerful attack, your still gonna be mortally wounded because your probably gonna be bleeding.

Hi Ron Armstrong/Infinite Art,

Perhaps I could put forward some foods for thought, but feel entirely welcome to nitpick them if you have something more fitting or better going on. :)

One thing particularly about STALKER, is the profound depth of the atmosphere; which I think is one of the qualities that I'm sure can be widely agreed is most paramount to it. The atmosphere emits a sense of desolation, tranquility and also dark secrets all at once. I think what lacked with Clear Sky (and i haven't yet finished COP) and what I've played of COP so far, is that there hasn't really been any sub-terrainian bunkers, underground laboratories or subsurface vaults with sinister paranormal stuff, which is what really thickened the plot for me with Shadow of Chernobyl.

Another interesting thing I'd really like to see implemented in Ray of Hope (which is also what direction the STALKER devs want/wanted to go with STALKER 2) is for 'The Zone' to expand over time. This can be easily implemented in the form of updates, as 'The Zone' would start (from the point where Ray of Hope is 'released') the same size as portrayed as (based on the plot) from Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat. It would be really interesting to eventually see the size that the area of 'The Zone' covers in Ray of Hope to as far as Austria, some of Russia and the other neighboring countries around Ukraine.

Also, what would you think about customizable camouflages on suits, apparel or weapons, performed by some kind of survival equipment specialist, who you may find in 'The Zone'. Camouflages could be customized from different patterns, and a set of different colours to go on those patterns.

Here is some of my ideas for the random events (or random missions) you can get anytime.

1. Military convoy.

Спойлер

That can possible be a downed helicopter somewhere in the woods, surrounded by the anomalies or the strong mutants (which was attracted here by the huge "BANG" :D) or some APC's and/or trucks somewhere near the road, defended by the militaries (if that faction will be added in the game), or just surrounded by the psy field or any other anomaly fields. The mission is to get some "interesting" documents, which can be sold to the traders for a good money, or some military loot (maybe it will be some of the military rifles, ammo, medicine, artifacts or something else). All of the players will get a SOS-message on their PDA and the event will start, but only the first stalker will receive all of the stuff from the convoy. Of course that loot will be dropped on death. That way it would be hard to win that event if you play alone, but much more easy in groups, which will enforce players to cooperate with other players.

2. Strange anomaly.

Спойлер

The players will be allowed to participate in that event only after making some contracts for the ecologists (or sciencists, wharever). They will receive a message on their PDA about some strange anomaly activity in some area. The scientists will give a mission to explore it and find some artifact (this can be something like a quest artifacts from CoP). You will need to find it the same way as the normal one and deliver to the scientists. The reward for that - money, medicine and a possibility to get a new upgrades for you suit (which upgrade it would be - i'm not sure; if you will make every upgrade available from the start - it can be a "unical-random-good-effect" upgrade, but if i'm mistaken - it will be an access to the top-tier upgrade).

3. Detective (very stupid idea, but why not :D).

Спойлер

That event activates if you will find an abandoned stalker camp/hideout in the forest with a traces of fight (dead mutants/NPC stalkers, blood on the trees/ground, casings and etc). You will need to search the area for a survivors (if you found a dead mutants) or the guys who killed that stalkers and end 'em. Reward - reputation, some loot from the dead NPCs.
